Renew Metal Dining Chairs With Coat Paint
Metal Dining Chairs – If you can not stand the look of those, worn metal chairs without shine any longer, get some paint cans and give them a makeover. In just a couple of days, those old chairs look so good and new. A new coat of paint on furniture can do wonders to fix the style of a room or add a new color to the spicy decor. Painting metal chairs is a low budget project that does not require any special maintenance personal knowledge, just a little effort.
Bring your chairs in a large, well-ventilated area, such as your patio or garage. Protect your floor, around furniture or nearby walls with the collection clothes. Remove any cushions or padding. Check under the modern metal dining chairs to see if the seat cushions are screwed in and unscrew if necessary. If any padding or cushions cannot be removed, protect them by covering them with plastic bags and painter’s tape.
Put on old clothes, goggles, and a dust mask. Put on gloves to protect your hands. Refine the finished rust or peeling with a stiff wire brush. If the chairs do not rust and peel, pass the wire brush. Sand your cheap metal chairs with an electric palm sander. Use a heavy one for medium grain sandpaper first if there is a lot of chips and scratches on the surface of your chairs.
