Ideas Leather Cowhide Rug
Cowhide rug is what it sounds like; a carpet made from the skin of a cow. The carpet is usually organically shaped, the size of the largest possible piece of skin, and can be any color from brown to rust rich to the most common black or brown spots, with white. Buying a cowhide rug can be expensive and difficult to find, and animal lovers will have a time of serious difficulties with the idea in general. Create your own cowhide rug using synthetic suede and fabric paint, the cheapest and simplest way to achieve the project. Place the microfiber on a clean floor or other large flat surface.
Draw an outline of an animal skin using the pencil. Draw an irregular oval shape on the upper edge of the fabric, two irregular, unequal rounded rectangular shapes of front legs, and two more for hind legs underneath. Connect the oval shape of the legs and legs to each other with sharp irregular curved lines. Create another rectangular short serrated shape for the back side of the cow at the bottom of the fabric. The shape should be longer than wide and should have the length of the fabric.
Cut out your shape on the pencil line using the scissors. Squeeze the paint on your paper pallet or plate. Dip the brush into the paint and create splotchy, uneven spots in the shape. Space them unevenly, creating large spots in some areas and small spots in others. Apply the paint thickly, making sure it penetrates the bottom layer of the fabric’s face.
